So if you read yesterday's post, I promised to do Tuesday's feature '5 Great Etsy Gifts for..." today since I got mixed up on days due to Labor Day. 

One of my favorite things to do on a nice sunny day is watch birds that gather outside my window. I have to watch them while they are perched on tree branches, telephone wires, or my car since I don't have a birdhouse. I'm Still Here...Although I'm M.I.A.

Hey everybody! Sorry for not posting anything yesterday and for posting late today. Yesterday was a kind of a busy day.

 My husband has been sick with a fever since last Saturday. I finally convinced him to go see the doctor, and boy I'm glad that we did! Turns out, he has bronchitis. Poor thing can't say three words without coughing his lungs out. So needless to say, I'll be busy taking care of my baby making him chicken soup, giving him his meds, and making sure he gets plenty of fluids and rest.

I love peacocks...well, I love their feathers. There are so many beautiful colors found in just one peacock feather - teal, blue, purple, green, gold, etc. I have a pair of peacock feather earrings that I wear whenever I want to jazz up an outfit. 

Etsy is slammed full of items that are peacock inspired. But I must warn you, the items are a little bit on the pricey side. So before you fall absolutely in love with an item, check the sale price first and then the shipping price. Some items have a great price ($4.99), but then the shipping price is unbelievable ($12.99). I'm a huge believer in not paying more for shipping than the actual item. But, I'll leave the final decision up to you. I guess peacock feathers are a luxury item now :)
