Before I get started on today's post, I just wanted to let you ladies know that I have a giveaway going on over at Agape Love Designs & Photography. Click the link below to participate.
Now...for today's post :)
You'd know that I can't swim...unless I wear my life vest. I don't care if people make fun of me while I'm in the pool, I'm having fun not drowning. LOL!
You'd know that I've worn my hair natural for about 5 years. That means that I do not use any type of chemical in my hair to straighten it. Yes, those are all natural curls on my head.
You'd know that despite appearances, I struggle with major depression, anxiety, and bipolar disorder on a daily basis. The smile on my face is real, but sometimes it's a mask so I don't make others worry about me.
You'd know that I use to write poetry from the hurt and pain that I experienced. But after I met my husband I couldn't write anymore because I no longer felt that hurt or pain.
You'd know that my favorite season is Fall and my favorite kind of day is a rainy day. It's raining here and I'm so happy right now :)
You'd know that even though I'm suppose to stay away from gluten, I'll sneak a cookie or cupcake in my mouth in a heartbeat! LOL!
What's something that I would know about you if I really knew you?
glad that you posted this-- I'm new so it's nice to get to know you a little better :) I too, love rainy days and the Fall and right now I'm transitioning to natural-- so we have a little in common
ReplyDeletesorry this is posting under my husband's blog name ( not for sure why)

Yay for transitioning! It's so liberating to wear your hair natural, the way God made it. There's a certain fierceness about it too! Thanks for following and commenting :)
DeleteI once wanted to learn Japanese.
ReplyDeleteReally? You should still try to learn it. I want to learn it also since I listen to it all the time when I'm watching anime. Maybe we can learn it together? :)
DeleteAwesome! I downloaded a "book" in Japanese to listen to listen to. I had no clue what was going on but it was nice to listen to. I can't swim neither. I just "stand" in three feet of water and enjoy the pool. The last time I went to the salon, the girl who was doing my hair said, "You know, you should really stop wearing relaxers." I have been getting relaxers since high school. Without it, my hair is big frizzy mess....so who knows what the next phase of my hair will hold.
DeleteI always love learning more about my bloggy friends. As for me, I can't swim worth a lick; not even for fun. And, no matter how small it is, I still can't manage to swallow a pill. :-)
ReplyDeleteHaha! Libby, I really do think that we are long lost sisters. I hate swallowing pills, but have to due to certain medical conditions. In order for me to take meds, it has to be either liquid, a slick capsule, or a very small tablet.
DeleteI am not alone. :-)
DeleteWhen I read this some of these things you wrote I thought you where talking about me. I can relate.
